Magazine Flipbook

Turn any PDF magazine into a 3D flipbook embeddable in Shopify. No uploads here — host the PDF on Shopify Files (free) and paste the link below.

1. Upload your PDF to Shopify Files

In your Shopify admin, go to Content → Files.
Click Upload files and drop your magazine PDF.
After upload, click the file row and copy the link (looks like https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/.../your-magazine.pdf).

2. Generate the embed

PDF URL (from Shopify Files) Title (optional, shown in the browser tab)

Viewer URL

Embed snippet (paste into Shopify product description HTML view)

Preview will appear here after Generate.

3. Embed in Shopify

In Shopify Admin, open the product where the magazine should appear.
In the description editor, click the </> (Show HTML) button.
Paste the iframe snippet from above. Save the product.

For a dedicated magazine page (instead of a product), create a custom page in Online Store → Pages and paste the iframe in the HTML editor.

What works, what doesn't

FREEThis page is static — no server, no database, never goes down.
FREEShopify Files gives you permanent CDN URLs with unlimited bandwidth on any Shopify plan.
NOTEThe PDF URL must allow cross-origin access. cdn.shopify.com does. If you use another host (Dropbox, Google Drive), CORS may block it.
TIPKeep PDFs under ~30 MB for snappy load. Anything bigger will still work but takes longer on slow connections.
